Who is in the band, how did you meet, where are you from and how did you come up with the band name?
Sam, Jay and Finn. We grew up together in Bath and went to the same school. The name came about from a long night and plenty of booze then consequently ending up in a pink hotel.
Who were your musical influences when you were growing up and who are your influences now?
So many then and now. Always been huge Springsteen fans, Nirvana, The Cure, The Stones. I've been listening to a lot of T.Rex recently and I know Sam's been playing Nick Cave in his car for a while. There's loads of brilliant new bands out there too, I like how easy it is to discover new stuff every week online.
How would you describe your sound?
We recently got described as 'scorching rock and roll with soul', I liked that.
What’s your local music scene like?
Good, everyone seems to know one another and is really supportive of what each other is doing which is awesome.
What do you have planned for the next 12 months? Any albums or festivals?
Lots of shows. We're planning a March UK tour followed by a European one. Then lots of festivals. We've recorded our first album and are getting that out there now, we've got two tracks online with more to follow in the new year. We've just started recording album two also.
Is there anyone you’d love to collaborate with?
Dave Grohl and Josh Homme would be pretty incredible. Brendan O'Brien has done some amazing records so to get him to produce would be awesome.
Any funny stories surrounding your live performances?
Sam snapped the neck of his new Les Paul at a gig, pretty much straight after getting it.
What is the one thing that you want readers to know about your band?
We love to boogie.
